My name is Erica Cote and I am the creative behind Cote Photography & Design. My journey with the digital arts began in 2008, during my junior year of high school. I had a teacher - Ms. Enjeti - who was a great mentor to me and really helped me discover my passion for photography. Outside of class I was designing album covers for mixed CD's for my friends (before I even realized it was graphic design!)

When i graduated high school, I was honored to walk the stage with the Silver Key Award. Recognition for the best digital art in my graduating class. A moment that was a sign of things to come.

Over the years, I picked up freelance projects and even spent time working at Sears Portrait Studio. Life took me in a different direction - I pursued a 10 year career in hair dressing and makeup artistry where I continued to fuel my creativity. Still, photography and design will always hold a special place in my heart.

Eventually, I followed that passion back to where it all started. I returned to school and I am on track to graduate with a degree in Graphic Design from Polk State College.

Outside of my creative work, I love getting lost in fantasy and mystery novels, soaking up inspiration from the world around me, and making memories with my family of seven.
